The full geometric documentation of the monument will use a combination of digital techniques for data acquisition and methodologies for data processing, in order to collect the necessary data for producing digital colour orthophotographs for the four exterior facades and six interior cross-sections of the church.
A 3D laser scanner survey was just performed. Also some preliminary analysis by thermography has been done but additional thermographic and reflectography survey are needed in order to assess the state of conservation of frescos and materials’ quality and performance. Restoration and seismic analysis are needed.
